Motion to appoint / vote on Committee Chairs (Youth, Loppet, Trails, Grooming, Membership)

Youth – Nancy Sweetnam

Loppet – Nancy Gaudreau

Grooming – Dave Reesor

Motion seconded and carried.



Youth Program – Nancy Sweetnam

Nancy and Drew taking Community Coach clinic – ages 6-9

Nancy will start to advertise to past participants and club members

Limit on number of participants 20 or take all comers depending on interest and parent volunteers?

Youth equipment rental $50 /season

Remainder for rental at either SportX or Running Goat

More coaches, especially female

Online registration with Zone 4?

Mary Stewart @ Running Goat to organize Kilted Loppet with Nancy

Propose to submit to NCD for $1000 to cover the following

Trail signs – $200

Grooming headset radios – $200

Emergency sled blankets, straps – $100

Youth Equipment – $500


Drew Lampman will submit request to NCD



Trail condition

Trails cleared of branches and ready for skiing and Loppet.

Snow fence at McParlan house bridge return route needs to get moved to protect against rock and creek.

Beth Graham Motion – To change signing authority from Past President to current Club President – Drew Lampman and Club Vice President – Phil Brackenbury.

Seconded by Don Frizell

Vote – All in favour.

Phil B to contact Friends of MPP to discuss possible joint membership options

Membership at 37 members on Nov 23.


Skandic ownership transfer to Murphy’s Point Park

Ownership has been transferred

Insurance is no longer necessary
